It's just too darn hot here this week in Florida for this New Englander to paint outdoors. (Not complaining, just explaining.)This morning I headed over to our little lake to take photos of the ducks. Last year we had two beautiful Pekin ducks in residence. This year we have one duck and an alligator. Such is life in the great outdoors.
I downloaded the photos onto my laptop and worked off the monitor on the lanai with two fans blasting. I'll finish this 11x14" oil painting in an Art Cocoon Traveler 2 in the morning. Tomorrow afternoon - to the pool!

ReplyDeleteWe head down there right after New Year and last year it was cold.
I know, it didn't snow but heck, I could stay here in Mass, turn the heat up and watch the birds at my feeders in the snow.
